Determination of Murder-Suicide In the Death Of Steve McNair and Sahel Kazemi

Published by truth2u under Life, News Edit This

Gunshot residue and ballistics testing have resulted in a preliminary finding, finally, that 36-year old Steve McNair died in an apparent murder-suicide. McNair, a former quarterback for the Tennessee Titans, was found by his roommate, shot to death along with his 20-year old girlfriend, Sahel Kazemi.

McNair was found with 4 bullet holes in his body. He was shot twice in the head and twice in the chest by a gun that was recently purchased by his girlfriend. One of the shots to his temple came from close up. It sounds as if Sahel participated in a little bit of overkill before she turned the gun on herself.

McNair was married with four sons. What he was doing living in a condo with Wayne Neeley has not been ascertained? Neeley found the bodies and called McNair’s long time friend and former college football teammate Robert Gaddy. Six miles away in a $3 million dollar home lived his wife and kids.

The stories gleaned from the family members of Sahel Kazemi seem to indicate that she thought McNair was getting a divorce and would soon be marrying her. So sure was Kazemi that she would soon be marrying McNair she was preparing to sell her furniture and move in with the former quarterback.

While it was immediately determined that McNair’s death was a homicide, the decision to call it a murder-suicide came only after further investigation, the results of the gunshot residue testing and ballistics as well as conversations with an ex-boyfriend of Kazemi and I am sure Mechelle McNair who denied any knowledge of the relationship between Steve, her husband, and Sahel Kazemi.

The truth of the matter is although McNair’s family home was on the market to be sold, no paperwork had been filed in the action of divorce. According to Gaddy, the house was on the market because McNair and his wife of 12 years were looking for a new house.

Although they had been together for only a short time, McNair and Kazemi had vacationed together with pictures circulated showing them parasailing. Kazemi had also recently traded up from a Kia to a 2007 Cadillac Escalade which was registered to both her and McNair. It is sad to say but it appears, Kazemi wanted marriage but McNair wanted a mistress and was willing to pay to play. Did that “play” include lying to Kazemi about getting a divorce?

He started a relationship with a young girl 16 years younger than he was. He picked her up from a restaurant that he and his family frequented often; Kazemi being a server at the restaurant. That speaks volumes about his character and the lack of respect shown to his wife. Who knows for sure what took place between Sahel Kazemi and Steve McNair but whatever it was, it pushed Kazemi to a breaking point of despair. Two lives are gone from this world and all I can ask is: “was the booty worth it?” Something I guess we will never know.

R.I.P McNair and Kazemi.

And that’s the way I see it!!!

A Dream Dismissed Or Hater’s Revenge

Although Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee may have the dream of Michael Jackson’s memory to last forever, and ever, and ever, through a resolution which would honor him for his many charitable donations throughout the world, she may end up running into opposition from not only Representative Peter King who has vowed to do “whatever I have to” to stop the honoring of Michael Jackson but from others in congress as well.

Under normal circumstances, resolutions honoring a person who has died or had significant accomplishments would move quickly through the process to be confirmed. This would involve moving from committee to the House floor however this resolution has been stalled in the House Foreign Affairs Committee which is the committee Jackson herself is a member of. It has not moved into the committee that King is a member of which says to me that King is not the only person who is opposed to this resolution.

What this also says is that even though a person is acquitted of a crime does not lessen the presumption of guilt in the hearts and minds of people. Michael Jackson gave so much of himself, his music, his money to the world; it was not proved, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that he was guilty of the crimes he was accused of, yet he paid restitution anyway while denying that anything “unnatural” happened plus he is dead at this point and his alleged crimes died with him in terms of he does not have the opportunity to commit these alleged crimes again.

People are so inconsistent sometimes. They go on and on and on in the coverage of the blonde bimbo Anna Nicole Smith (nothing really against her that’s just my personal joke about her as I watched the coverage she received - I realize everybody lives their own life and trust me, I have been called some pretty bad things in my lifetime) who really had only her looks and her promiscuous and outrageously medicated personality going for her and sometimes her overly loving body press against her son to show in public.

Yet, to someone who had the ability to bring together people through his music, to set a record for giving to the world via charitable contributions and to never let the child in him evaporate into cynicism and judgment, people instead pass judgment on him in an effort to take away his glory, his accomplishments. I truly do not understand that.

I have to wonder if it is a race thing. The bottom line is Michael Jackson will live on in the hearts and minds of many regardless of what the House says for they can not control the very real effect Michael had on the world. To throw a wrench in the resolution which would publicly honor Michael only shows how petty they truly are in their desire to prove a point. What that point is I’m not sure I know based on the facts of the situation.

While the first case against Michael may have been a misunderstanding based on the fact that he admitted to allowing kids to sleep in his bed (which is not all that unusual – it was really that he was so different that caused the real problems) causing those with twisted minds to assume the worst as a result of this, the second case was clearly either the error of the parents for allowing their child to stay the night with Michael or their attempt to acquire a free pay day. Yet the “accusation” remains a guilty conviction in both cases based entirely on “judgments” made by the people.

At any rate, these alleged crimes do not take away from the fact that in his life, Michael Jackson showed he had the capacity for charity and this is what the resolution would be “rewarding”. I say he deserves to be honored for his philanthropy, his style and his music.

And that’s the way I see it!!!
