I know this is old news but I was just made aware of it. Now I have heard of sex with sheep, I have even read of a slave woman being forced to have sex with a horse – which killed her and on Predator I saw the one where a man’s request was for this under-aged girl to have sex with a cat but this is a new one on me.

In a 2005 interview, Neal Horsley, a Republican who plans to run for Governor of Georgia in 2010, admitted to having sex with a mule while growing up on a farm and insisting this was “normal” behavior for kids growing up on farms. He states “When you grow up on a farm in Georgia, your first girlfriend is a mule.”

According to Wikipedia, Otis O’Neal Horsley, Jr. authors a website which is devoted to his advocacy of militant pro-life, secessionist and anti-gay views. According to Wikipedia, Horsley also confessed to having sex with a man while in the Air Force. How can you be anti-gay but think, at any time, that it is “normal” to have sex with a mule or any animal for that matter.

More importantly is this the type of person you want in a leadership position? While he claims God has forgiven him for all of his transgressions, which include being jailed, for twenty-one (21) months, on charges of drug possession in the 70’s, his belief system is a little off target to my way of thinking but he fits right in with the Republican party.

Horsley appears to have a violent streak as well and states he would kill his own son if he tried to stop him from getting Georgia to secede from the Union while admitting to wanting to kill his son once before in a confrontation they were having.

The more I researched this man, the scarier he became to me. My only hope is that Georgians see him for what he really is – a straight nut job. How can you have God in your heart and sprout the madness he sprouts. Horsley and Rush Limbaugh are two out- of-control Republicans that speak loudly of the mentality of the Republican Party.

Talk about chickens coming home to roost – these two are perfect examples of the deeds done by the Republican Party that are coming back to cause problems for them now. Yet, rather to recognize the error of their ways in producing people like this they continue on their road to self-destruction feeling justified, energized and righteous as they attempt to find ways to discredit Judge Sotomayor.

Unf***ing believable.
