The View Inside Gaza - One Sided??
While Palestinian journalist, are the only ones who are able to supply the world with pictures of the carnage that is taking place in Gaza, that being because, as Palestinian’s, they are victims of this attack, they live within the wall that holds them prisoner there. Some are saying that this view may come with a slight slant to it however, reality is reality.
The Palestinian death toll is rising. It is Palestinians who are being rushed to hospitals, who are dying and getting injured. The camera’s – those Palestinian cameras, that are witness to this massacre are revealing kids, women and the old being rushed to the hospital with the injuries perpetrated on them by Israel.
Consequently, even if these are the same pictures being rerun through the media of the world, the fact remains that there are upwards of 860 Palestinian’s dead and over 3,000 Palestinians injured, from the assault on them by Israel. Where is the slant in that?
Lies are what put slants on what is real and that is precisely what Israel is doing; by Her words and Her actions as demonstrated as follows:
Israel is still refusing to allow foreign reporters inside the walls of Gaza. Israel’s troops have killed a relief worker, who was doing his job, based on a verbal agreement from Israel’s government, that a ceasefire would take place, making it “safe” for him to enter to deliver medical supplies and food to the people in Gaza.
By way of taking the edge off what really happened, the catch word is that the relief personnel was “fired upon” by Israel troops. The real term should have been attacked because that is precisely what happened. Their entrance into Gaza is suppose to be relatively “safe” because based on military coordination’s, they are given space so that they can perform their task of handing out food and administering to the wounded in an area free from the violence that is happening around them.
With this in mind, the only way they could have gotten injured, or in this case, killed, was for them to be attacked in the area that was supposed to be designated “safe” for their entrance. What was the justification behind this?
Israel has attacked safe buildings designated for the Palestinian people after releasing flyers, via air plane, warning the people that attacks were coming allowing them to get to a “safe” place. One of these “safe” places in particular, where 42 civilian’s where slaughtered by Israel’s military, Israel gives, as Her justification for this attack on the people in a “safe” house, that the military troops were being fired on by Hamas “somewhere in the vicinity of the safe UN Building”.
Clearly Israel is giving the impression that they have something to hide in this attack on Palestine and the people of Gaza. As well, they feel strongly that the world should not and will not be allowed to witness these pure acts of vengeance, on the Palestinian people, who live behind the walls separating Israel from Gaza, consequently exercising Her “right” to block the entrance to Gaza from any and all foreign reporters who need to bare witness, for the world, to the violence that is taking place there.
Israel is allowed to do her dirt on the people of Gaza and use as her justifications that Hamas is the cause for the lives that have been taken. That Hamas started this fight by disrespecting Israel’s space and creating a physiological affect on the citizens of Israel.
They say they are not attempting to harm the people of Gaza, yet so far 800 plus are dead. Israel bombs and shoots up safe houses, refuses to allow foreign reporters to bare witness, agrees to ceasefires to allow aid workers time and safety so they can come in and deliver food and aid – then refuses to actually cease firing and in fact kills a relief aid then justifies this by saying, if Hamas fires on us we will fire back, in every circumstance. In putting it in these words or words on this level, Israel is indirectly placing the death of the aid worker, on Hamas.
Who has the real slant on the story?
Something just does not feel comfortable with what I see and hear coming from Israel and what I see and understand by the number of civilians that are being killed and injured in this battle that is only suppose to be targeting Hamas. It just does not fit. There is a clash inside my body and I guess the clash that I am feeling is also the same clash that other people in the world are feeling, for tensions are growing, all over the world, as the protesters voices are not being heard.
Israel’s justifications for the attacks on Palestinians and aid workers are too predictable and in alignment with the fact that Israel, wants the world to believe, that Hamas is the one who is totally out of control when the reality shows that Israel’s actions are showing, who is really out of control.
Intent does not fit with the reality of what is happening. Israel’s words are not fitting the actions promised from the missions inside Gaza to the ceasefires promised for the safety of the aid workers.
And that’s the way I see it!!!
