Stop The Violence In Gaza - Before It’s Too Late
While I am not a militant, emotionally, I have been where militants are. There will always be two sides to every story and while we may never know all truths concerning this invasion, perpetrated by Israel, with the justification of Gaza’s, psychological attack on Israel through Hamas’, evidence helps to understand the situation that has been unfolding before our eyes, as well as understand the players in this story. By briefly examining the evidence, we discover:
Israel, in their ability to block all who come through the Gates of Gaza, has been denying humanitarian efforts as well as, foreign reporters, to enter. Denying, in this process any unbiased, or up close and personal witnesses to the violence and destruction wielded by Israel, against the people of Gaza or any medical aid to assist the injured.
For at least three days, the Red Cross has been petitioning Israel to allow them access into the gates so that they could attend to the wounded and begin removing the bodies.
Finally, this morning, they allowed the Red Cross in. The Red Cross discovered, in one house there were 15 people. Most of them were dead however, within the house with bodies, there were also children who were wounded, clinging to live. How long had the children been laying there injured, how long did it take for those others to die?
The pain and suffering could have been terrible in the two or three days they may have been there, in that house, slowly dying with no medical aid available because Israel, the force creating the death and destruction, is allowed to refuse medical aid to simply come inside the gates to take care of those people; the same people that Israeli troops have left behind, to suffer, for days and die, in the violent attack on the people of Gaza.
I do not know how old the children were but if they were old enough for memory, how do you think they will grow up, with the memory of this battle and the deaths that occurred all around them? More importantly, how long have these acts of violence been going on, over the years? How many children have experienced this type of trauma in their live times or heard the tales of others. How many have lost relatives who died before their time, relatives that they have never met but whose blood they carry, racing through their veins.
Meanwhile, at Israel’s back door and across another of its borders, four missiles came across from Lebanon, destroying property and injuring, slightly, two Israelites. The missiles were not of the same caliber that Israel uses, more on the level of the ones Hamas used while psychologically succeeding in irritating the population of Israeli citizens.
Now, while Israel is wreaking havoc on the people of Gaza, it appears Israel needs to watch its back because the anger is rising intensely, in Lebanon, at this inhumane and violent attack on the people of Gaza that Israel has launched. How long before the anger can no longer be contain. What happens if two wars broke out, how many lives will be taken?
And that’s the way I see it!!!
