In terms of people acting irrational and controlling, not looking at what is real and creating confusion and chaos based on what they feel is right for someone else - I felt the Israel Gaza reference was timely. But hey, that's just my opinion.

While I agree with the general content of your article, your mentioning of "Israel and its' disproportionate attack on Gaza" don't belong in the same sentence or the same article as something about the Senate.
While I agree on the Senate issue, I take issue with you on the Israeli military move. I have already weighed in on the issue in my blog, so I will not dare do so on your too.
The Senate for its part is already starting to back pedal on the Burris blockade. Feinstein has already caved in with Reid and Pelosi to cave in later this week.
The damage may have already been done by Reid who now has to find a way to work with the "junior senator from Illinois.

Great post! And for the record, I do not believe the signature from the Secretary of State is required.

The ONLY power Reid and the other Senators has is to expel a sitting senator and they cannot expel one simply because they don't like who appointed him.
