Can This Be Real Or - Just A Game To Play

Clarence Thomas, the sexual harasser; Clarence Thomas, who can’t accept “no” for an answer, when coming from a woman; Clarence Thomas, an opponent of affirmative action, even though, as old as he is, he himself has benefitted from affirmative action; Clarence Thomas, the Supreme Court Justice, has stepped in to participate in the witch hunt that has gained speed in discrediting President-elect Obama’s eligibility to become President.

I can’t believe it; Clarence Thomas is backing this madness.  Clarence Thomas has demonstrated to me that he does not see things clearly, by his opposition to affirmative action, as well as, his inability to draw the line when he gets “no” for an answer, when it comes to women.  Now he is jumping on the band wagon of this self appointed “citizens’ advocate” Leo Donofrio.

Thomas has asked his colleagues on the court to consider the request of an East Brunswick, N. J. attorney, Leo Donofrio, who has filed a lawsuit challenging President-elect Obama’s eligibility to be president.

Donofrio, a retired attorney who identifies himself as a ‘citizens’ advocate’, is questioning Obama’s eligibility because Obama was born in Hawaii by a mom who was from Kansas (making her a U.S. citizen), while his father was a Kenyan national.

He is alleging that because of Obama’s dual citizenship (Kenyan and Hawaii/USA), this does not make Obama “a natural born citizen”.  He uses as his argument, Article 11, Section 1, and Paragraph 5, of the U.S. Constitution which states, “no person except a natural born citizen or a citizen of the United States, at the time of the adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to hold the office of President…”

But the most outrageous part to all of this is, the “proof of citizenship” signature list, which has over 120, 000 names on it; 120,000+ names that are demanding this proof.  As a result of the signature list totals and the insistence of the group to investigate, the Supreme Court is now reviewing the case to determine its merits, based on the allegations of this citizen advocates’ theory that Obama’s birth certificate is now a forgery.

First they question Obama’s citizenship next they question the legitimacy of his documentation that proves he is a citizen, which is his birth certificate.  They have even gone to the extent of inventing a tale to go along with their theory that his paperwork is a forgery.

News sources have it that this citizens’ advocate group has even requested that his birth certificate, in Hawaii, be reviewed by forensic investigators to determine authenticity.  To clear his name, Obama may have to submit to giving permission for his paperwork to be examined.

Never mind that the same citizen advocates group, questions the presidential eligibility of John McCain, born in Panama and Socialist Worker candidate Roger Calero.

With all the group’s insistence and tales of birth and forgery, I’m not even sure I would trust the outcome because if you want to get on a conspiracy theory level like them, they could have just as easily gotten someone to replace the legitimate copy of the hospital file.

It would be hard for me to believe that the president elect would not have know the requirements to becoming president, that his promotional people, the people backing him did not look into these matters prior to endorsing him, as well as, his opponent’s people, in an attempt to smear him prior to the election.

I’m sure everyone understands the concept of “crabs in a barrel”.  If you put crabs in a barrel and one tries to climb out, all the rest will attempt to pull, the one struggling to get out, back in.  This is how I view Clarence Thomas and his group of citizens’ advocates.

What a shame.  Even if his birth certificate comes back forged, I still say what a shame because Obama seems to have some direction and direction is what America needs.

Thought of LIFE:  Booker T. Washington once said that “in all things purely social we can be as separate as the fingers yet, one as the hand in all things essential to mutual progress” – it comes down to mutual understanding.

And that’s the way I see it!!
